Thinking Out of the Box Future Arts Funding Workshop Day Are you interested in the future of the Arts in Berkshire? You are invited to a workshop to advise Berkshire Arts: Local Authority Partners (Bracknell Forest Borough Council, Reading Borough Council, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Slough Borough Council, West Berkshire Council and Wokingham Borough Council) on ways to strengthen the flow of funding to the arts across Berkshire.

There are three workshops each day (six in total), each covering the same topics, but aimed at promoting discussion in four broad areas; funding opportunities for building based organisations (venues and arts centres), individual artists, arts organisations (production and participation) and amateur/voluntary arts.

Each session will last two hours and will be lead by consultants from David Powell Associates, the company commissioned by Berkshire Arts: Local Authority Partners to support the research, consultations and generating ideas for improving access to future funding.

Hang-on is an artists network group which meets the last Friday of every month to network, talk and just share a cup of tea together once a month to break from the sometimes studio seclusion. All artists are welcome to come and hang-on.
