People, as well as nature, are central to this exhibition. From her studio window, overlooking the graveyard, Jo Thomas has carefully recorded the Maple tree over time as well as the life that happens around it, from the plastic bag caught in its branches to people watching the world go by.

So much that we take for granted in the environment is on death row. While there is still time, what can we do? Alex Buhagiar addresses this question by inviting local groups, actively engaged in caring for the environment, to Gallery 10, where visitors can meet, or make contact with, them. These include Reading Natural History Society, Friends of the Earth, the Civic Society, LETS, Reading Borough Council, Berkshire Ornithological Club, Rising Tide, BTCV, WEN, National Trust Volunteers and Econet.

Alongside this, she has produced work based on recent observations of the graveyard and conversations with people associated with it.

Opening event: Saturday, November 22nd 1-3 pm (all welcome).
